runningsports Workshops

runningsports workshops are the ideal way for you and your volunteers to get to grips with all of the key issues facing you as a volunteer working in sport. Each workshop has been specifically devised by subject specialists who are not only experts in the topic, but also understand how it relates to sports volunteers.

They’re run at convenient times at locations near you and include the opportunity to compare notes with other clubs and sports volunteers in your area. Find out when and where the workshops are taking place with the Workshop Calendar.

runningsports workshops are practical, accessible, and recommended by 100% of volunteers who attend them. So they really do work.

The 'A Club for All' workshop has recently been transformed into a more convenient alternative - an online e-learning package.

Completing at ‘A Club for All’ is a requirement for gaining the ABAE’s Clubmark accreditation and the online course should make it easier for clubs to meet this requirement.

The online course is for sports clubs and community groups who want to open up their club to all sections of the community, and is a fast, easy and convenient way for them to:

widen membership

attract more coaches, players and officials

improve funding eligibility

work towards Clubmark

The course will cost £20 and clubs registering before 31st March 2011 will receive a £5 discount.
