Young boxers invited to go the distance at Royal Navy Boxing camp

The Royal Navy and the ABAE have teamed up together to offer 40 lucky winners a one day exclusive boxing camp for 13 to 16 year olds at the HMS Drake, Plymouth.

On Thursday 16th April, forty young boxers will be given a unique flavour of life as a top boxer in the Royal Navy.  The winners will receive special coaching from the cream of the Royal Navy boxing team, before being put through their paces by one the Royal Navy's top physical training instructors.

To be one of those lucky boxers, simply fill in a registration form below and send it in by the 31st March.

Royal Navy training day

One of the young boxers from a previous Royal Navy training day at HMS Nelson, Portsmouth, Danny Green, aged 15, commented: "I really liked the whole day - the coaching was brilliant as well as the fitness training and it was great meeting everyone." Eli Matthews, 14, added: "The fitness trainers pushed us hard and it was also great to hear their stories about life in the Navy."
