Some Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I attend if I am a novice? Will I be out of my depth?
Yes you can. The camp is open to boxers of all levels and ability, and it is about your progression. We have already had a few applications from boxers who have only been boxing for 6 months but are keen to progress, so you will not be alone!

Can I attend if I am with a club but not affiliated to the ABAE?
No, but it is not hard to become a member. You only need to be a recreational member as a minimum, and this can be completed by filling in the MR1 form via your club to your regional registrar. If you are in the process you can still apply for the box camp but we will check that you have registered before the camp.

I am worried that I won't know anyone?
Don't worry most people attending will be in the same situation and we will support everyone to make friends and feel comfortable.

Can I attend but leave on the Thursday night?
Some people have commitments on the Friday, and have requested to leave early. This is not a problem as long as you complete the activities on the Thursday, inform us on your application form that you will be leaving early, and pay the full amount.

I have sent my form in but not heard anything?
If the ABAE has received your application form, an e-mail or letter of receipt will have been sent. If you have not heard anything please get in touch with Rebecca as soon as possible.
