Nicola Adams won her first round 15-2 against Gyongi from Hungary.
Unfortunately, Navy boxer Lucy Abel was unwell and lost her first round bout 5-6 against Usha Nagisetty from India. Lucy previously beat the India boxer who is ranked no 3 in the world. This was a close contest.
Amanda Coulson won her first round bout - referee stopped contest, against Sabina Kirilova from Bulgaria.
Amanda and Nicola both have tough contests ahead of them. Nicola faces Ramilal Pavitra from India and Amanda faces Marichelle de Jong from the Netherlands.
