London ABA launch their website

Londoners can now keep up with all of the news from their association with the launch of the London Amateur Boxing Association's brand new official website: www.abalondon.org.uk

London ABA

The launch was officially announced on September 27 at Repton's open show, the first London show of the new season.

Boxers, fans and the media will be able to find the dates and locations for all London shows and view results, write-ups and photographs from previous events on one comprehensive site.

It will also include in-depth features and profiles on London clubs, boxers and coaches, with contributions from renowned boxing historian Richard Barber.

Keith Walters, Honorary Secretary of the London ABA and ABAE Chairman, said: "The popularity of boxing has exploded with the success of Amir Khan in Athens and the boys in the Beijing Olympics.

"Boxing's a great sport to watch but people might not know where and when they can come and see a show and find out what the real thing is all about. The website should help to make the sport more accessible to youngsters looking to get involved and find out when they can come and see a show."
