Commonwealth Youth Games - day one
Tommy Stubbs got the team off to a good start, beating Barbadian Ricardo Blackman in the preliminary stages of the competition, with the referee stopping the contest in the 4th round.
Team manager Martin Webb said: "Stubbs was on fire, forcing eight counts in rounds one, three and four. The score at stoppage was an overhelming 32-2."
