Recreational boxers - important information
The ABAE board and council have decided to adopt and implement a 'recreational boxer' category for both males and females.
This new group will be covered for boxing participation and training under the ABAE insurance provision for an annual fee of £20 per club payable to ABAE from this season 2008/2009 and commencing immediately.
All individual members of your club or organisation between 10 - 34 years of age MUST complete this form (MR1) and return it with 2 passport sized photographs as requested to the regional registrar, who will then issue an ABAE recreational boxer's registration book and they will then be placed on the ABAE database.
It is essential all members are covered and entered on the ABAE database to ensure they can train and participate in sparring.
