Development boxers go for gold in Poland
Three boxers from the GB Development squad have been competing at the Cup of the City tournament in Grudziadz, Poland.
Gamal Yafai 51kg, England, Fred Evans 60kg, Wales and Robert Wright 48kg, Scotland travelled to Poland with GB coach Jim Davison.
Collectively they took three medals - two gold (Yafai and Evans) and one bronze (Wright)

Tuesday
Gamal Yafai beat Karem Ajlazjan (Armenia)
Wednesday
Robert Wright beat K. Rogowski (Poland) RSC1
Fred Evans beat W. Margarian (Armenia) 12:06.
Friday
Wright lost 17:12 to Selcuk Eker (Tur)
Yafai won RSCOS 3 (29:9) Maciej Jarczynski (Pol)
Evans beat Jude Mamba (Fra) 19:05
Saturday - final
Yafai beat Alkan Ozdemir (Tur) 18:3
Evans beat Gabriel Podasca (Rom) 23:13
Gamal Yafai (younger brother of Olympian Khalid) and Fred Evans both collected gold medals, while Robert Wright won bronze.
Fred Evans proved very popular with the tournament organisers - the Welsh lightweight received four different accolades at the end of the competition: the Best Boxer trophy, Best Bout award, Best Foreign Boxer award and Best Foreigner trophy!
