Billericay are on the up
Billericay Amateur Boxing Club have welcomed three new coaches to join its ranks, along with some new boxing members, including a current National Schoolboy Golden Gloves champion.
Club secretary Les Cooke says: "We have at present seven first class ABA qualified coaches and two coaches that are about to go on the aba assistant coaches course.
"As a club, we always put the boxers first. We have many club events planned and have a real club and team spirit!"
With the new influx of coaching support, the gym is welcoming newcomers to train at its base in Essex Lake Meadows, Radford Cresent, Billericay, Essex. Anyone wishing to join should contact Les Cooke on 0797 4131461.
Training times:
Tuesday / Thursdays
6pm - 7.30pm - advanced juniors
7.30pm - 9.30pm advanced seniors
Wednesdays
Juniors 6pm - 7pm, Seniors 7pm - 8pm. (Newcomers are particularly welcome to train on Wednesdays)
