Qualified boxers meet AIBA president
ABAE Chairman Keith Walters was accompanied by Olympic qualifiers Tony Jeffries, James DeGale and Khalid Yafai at an AIBA press conference held in the Rosetto Degli Abruzzi town hall.
During the press conference the boxers had a chance to meet AIBA president Ching-Kuo Wu and were informed of an exciting new annual international tournament 'The AIBA World Cup'. The inaugaral tournament will be held in Moscow in December and will be attended by the top 8 ranked boxers in the world accoridng to the new AIBA ranking system). A large prize fund will be available with $10KUSD going to the gold medallist in each weight category.
