Newly accredited team managers appointed
A team manager panel has been announced this month, after a recent identification and accreditation process.
A recent course identified eight individuals to manage teams at both England and GB level. These team managers are fully trained in the day-to-day management of teams and are competent in various areas, including team travel throughout the world, border controls, repatriation, communication, child protection, equity, discipline, first aid and doping.
ABAE chief executive Paul King said: "I am delighted with the recent process of accreditation, which has resulted in these appointments. Athletes, parents and volunteers alike can be assured of a professional service when athletes travel away from home."
