Tom Stalker beat his Georgian opponent Nikoloz Izoria with an RSCO3 (20 point rule). Nikoloz earned a silver medal for his country in the 2004 Olympics in Athens, where he boxed at flyweight. Stalker has set the standard for his team mates, who also face tough competition.
Chris Jenkins lost to his Ukrainian opponent. He was withdrawn at the end of the first round with the score at 1:17.
