Newham's Young Mayor on the pads with West Ham ABC
Young Mayor of Newham, Zuhayb Ahmed, got a chance to try his skill on the pads at the recent Mayor's Newham Show in East Ham Central Park.
West Ham ABC put on the boxing display, which was part of a weekend that featured sports such as street athletics, basketball and track events, and the Young Mayor was keen to find out about the club and their work in the local community.
Enthusiastic coach Micky Driscoll put a gathering of the some of the country's top young talent through their paces. The boxers were in good spirits as they ran through some of their training repertoire, followed by a pad session opportunity for members of the public.
