Hammersmith middleweight James DeGale got the Breat Britain boxing team of to a great start, with a comfortable 13-4 win against Egyptian Mohamed Hikal at the Beijing Worker's Stadium.
Thought the Great 8 are now a Magnificent 7, the team's spirits were greatly boosted by DeGale's win and look forwards to tomorrow's performances from Bradley Saunders and Billy Joe Saunders.
Brad takes on Ghana's Samuel Kotey Neequaye, whilst Billy Joe faces world no.3 Adem Kilicci of Turkey.
