Norway visit for Tottenham club
Tottenham and Enfield Police Amateur Boxing Club welcomed international visitors earlier this month after the head coach of a Norwegian club watched the team box in the Swedish Angered Box Cup.
Peter Brentall of the Dingo Amateur Boxing Club, Norway, contacted the Tottenham club to ask if a select team of Norwegian boxers could travel to England to experience differently training methods and skills. The team of five boxers and two coaches stayed for five days of joint training.
Peter Brentall said "This has been an unbelievable experience, we have learnt so much, it has been a pleasure and we intend to come back to train with the club in September."
Fellow Dingo coach added: "I want to thank the club for the training and inspiration they gave us in London, It meant the world to our young boxers, as well as for me and Peter. I was so glad to see for myself the way you trained. All that I hoped for the training, goodwill and friendliness came true in your gym. I can't wait to see you all again."
Tottenham and Enfield Police Coach Stuart Clench said "This was an amazing experience for everyone involved. It was an honour to train alongside such a wonderful group of people, the doors are always open to the Dingo Amateur Boxing Club."
