Super-heavyweight David Price is guaranteed a bronze medal after his opponent was forced to retire after the first round.
Price was looking promising, leading Jaroslav Jaksto 3-1 after round 1, but the Lithuanian's corner was forced to throw in the towel due to a leg injury.
Salisbury club leader Alan Lynch praised the coaches at Salisbury ABC who have helped develop David's talents over the past six years: "I am extremely hopeful that this is only the start of his Olympic campaigns."
'Dynamite' Dave will now face Italian world champion Roberto Cammarelle in the semi-final on Friday.
