2nd AIBA European Boxing Qualifying Tournament
Five members of the GB podium squad will start to compete on Monday for a place on the Olympic team this summer in Beijing.
The competition starts on Monday April 6, with preliminary rounds taking place between 2pm and 6pm and 7pm onwards. Boxing will continue throughout the week, with Thursday as the official rest day.
The boxers will be competing in the Olympic Weightlifting venue in the city where Amir Khan earned his Olympic medal back in 2004. With seven boxers already qualified for Beijing, this is a strong reminder of how vital funding and the work of the GB coaches have turned the team's fortunes around since the last Olympics.
