Two Brave Bronze, One Shining Silver with a Possible Chicago Golden Hue!?
After four tremendous victories each in eleven days, Brad Saunders and Joe Murray were both eventually beaten, but both showed there is much more to come from them. They are World Bronze medallists and Olympic qualifiers and they've done it on the toughest stage in amateur boxing. The AIBA World Championships.
Frankie Gavin has stretched his eleven day winning run to five, beating four world ranked opponents back to back including the longstanding undisputed world number one. Along the way he has qualified for the Beijing 2008 Olympics and guaranteed himself at least a Silver medal. Knowing Gavin he will consider the week only so-so if he doesn't win Gold tomorrow against Italy's much fancied, Domenico Valentino
