Amanda Strikes Gold in Istanbul
Amanda Coulson's outstanding performance in the Ahmet Comert tournament in Istanbul gained her another victory this weekend. Amanda defeated her Russian opponent in the semi final stages of the contest, before taking the gold medal for a tremendous win against S Klinga of Poland.
Nicola Adams was applauded for her performance in the semi finals, losing to her Russian opponent, a current world champion.
Some 400 boxers from 40 countries competed in the tournament, held at the Ahmet Comert Sports Arena.
