Boxing Foundation News

The Boxing Foundation is pleased to announce its allocation of monies from the Boxing Foundation Fund for 2007 / 2008.

 

A total of 72 Clubs applied for this fund to purchase boxing equipment up to a value of £200 each.  The following Clubs have been successful:

Each successful Club will now be asked to select 'a package equipment'.  The product packages are being tendered for via the ABAE Office.  The ABAE Office will place orders with multiple delivery addresses once the Clubs have selected their packages of equipment.

 

The following Associations have requested funding from the Foundation to run a course.  They will receive funding once (20) or more Assistant Coaches are registered as full coaches:

  • Eastern Counties 
  • Home Counties 
  • London ABA 
  • Midland ABA 
  • North West Counties 
  • Tyne Tees ABA 
  • Southern ABA 
  • Western Counties 
  • Yorkshire ABA 
  • Police and Community Clubs of Great Britain.                

The total cost to the Boxing Foundation amounts to £24,600. 

 

The Boxing Foundation Committee will consider each year the 'theme' for distributing funds.  These 'themes' are expected to change each year.
