India to host Youth Games
India will host the 3rd Commonwealth Youth Games in Pune, a city near Mumbai, from 12-18 October 2008.
Countries from all continents will take part in the event, which promises to be huge. This is for the first time in the history of the Commonwealth Youth Games that all 71 countries will participate, with more than 2000 athletes and officials taking part in 9 sports disciplines: athletics, badminton, boxing, shooting, swimming, table tennis, tennis, weightlifting and wrestling.
