Schedule of Findings of Discipline and Appeal
A senior boxer entered a 'bout limited' competition (Novice Championship) in the knowledge that he had competed in more than the stipulated number of bouts. The boxer has subsequently been excluded from all activities within amateur boxing until he comes forward to answer charges of 'cheating'.
An ABAE Dispute Resolution Panel found in favour of a club against its divisional and regional association, who ruled that the club should not be registered as its proposed location was too close to other established clubs. The club is now correctly registered with the ABAE.
Two funded senior boxers were charged with bringing the sport into disrepute. Both boxers were found guilty and excluded from all activities within amateur boxing for a period of one year. This finding was suspended for a period of one year.
