As part of the development of the ABAE archive we want to capture a little bit of the history of each club (past and present).  We have started with Fulham ABC, established in 1912, from whom we have received the following donations:

  1. Membership card of the Fulham Amateur Boxing Club for the Nineteenth Season 1931 - 1932
  2. Programme of the Annual Club Boxing Championships held at R.A. Drill Hall, High Street, Fulham on Wednesday 1 November 1933
  3. Grand Boxing Display Club Championships held at R.A. Drill Hall, High Street, Fulham on Wednesday 25 April 1934 (A5 Poster)
  4. A Grand Boxing Tournament of Club Championships of the Fulham ABC held at the Hammersmith Stadium on Tuesday 14 December 1937 (A3 Poster)

Fulham ABC is not longer active but we would love to receive similar examples of other clubs to preserve for future generations.  So dig out those old posters, programmes, tickets, news features, books, trophies and send them to the ABAE, English Institute of Sport - Sheffield, Coleridge Road, Sheffield, S9 5DA or email archive@abae.org.uk
