Boxing Development Officer appointed in Liverpool
Damian Ridpath became the ABAE's sixth Boxing Development Officer this week.
Damian has been involved with activities at Phoenix Olympic ABC in Warrington for 16 years. He has been an advanced ABA coach since 2004, an ABA judge since 2005 and he has already been very proactive in his home town of Warrington. Over the past four years he has been involved in the co-ordination and delivery of amateur boxing in over 70 primary and secondary schools, with over 4000 young people getting involved in the various boxing schemes.
Boxing Development officers in Bristol, Sheffield, Birmingham, Newham and Manchester have already been hugely successful in the promotion, growth and development of the sport.
