Female Roll Of Honour

At the 1998 the AIBA Congress (Antayla, Turkey) it became part of the AIBA programme.  Today there is a 'Woman's Boxing Sub-Commission' of AIBA (www.aiba.net).  

Apart from the African continent, there is now regional competitions (eg. Asian Games) and there have been (3) World Women's Boxing Championships.  The most recent was held in the Russian City of Podolsk between the 26th September and the 2nd October 2005.

The 4th World Female Boxing Championships will be held on the 1st November 2006 in the Indian City of New Delphi.

At the 4th World Female Championships England was represented for the first time
